Five Simple Marketing Tips :

Potentially Boost Your Public Image

For Your Business in Five Easy Ways

  • #1 Play the Role as a Professional Critic:

Walk through your front doors with your best critical persona. Every fleck of dust, fingerprint on glass, tissue on the ground… Critique everything in your business.

How do you naturally want to move through the room? What do you see first when walking through? Is there anything that could be moved or added to assist customers/patients/clients etc.?

  • #2 Show People The Door!:

Literally! Sometimes, people pass on trying new places because they don’t know where to enter the building…

On your Google Business Profile or company website, it could be a good idea to add pictures of the entrance, stairs they may have to take, alleyways to walk down, or accommodations for people with disabilities.

You do not have to go overboard with this step, but showing your patrons a few introductory areas can help familiarize them with your establishment & make them more comfortable with trying your service.

  • #3 What is “The Main Focus”?

When you look around the room, can you figure out where you are in seconds?

Do the decorations reflect the mission of your business?

Creating a theme and setting a tone for the customer areas can boost the mood & comfort levels of new visitors. Think of going to a new friend’s house, and their walls are bare, no place to sit… no pets… etc… Probably not the most inviting place. I am not saying you should get a restaurant cat, but a picture of a cat slurping spaghetti could help… (terrible example, I hope you get the gist…)

  • #4 Online Presentation:

Much like a physical storefront, your business’s online presence is a canvas for advertising.

This tip may be obvious to some…

However, due to the importance of digital marketing, I must discuss it. Utilizing social media is still an excellent way to pull in new customers. Posting at least a few times a month may show your potential patrons that your company is still active and ready to serve.

  • #5 Have Fun:

Having fun is serious business. There is an art and an act, with a bit of balance.

Of course, try to recognize the best time and place for having fun. But, don’t be afraid to sneak some good times into your day! Make some new inside jokes, or outside ones too!

You never know what kind of day someone is having. A genuine compliment, a good laugh, or thoughtful gesture could go a long way towards making a long-lasting impression.

Embrace humanity. Trying to create a positive ripple effect in those around you, could possibly change your life for the better… 🙂
